Guy le Tatooer X Baze
When worlds collide, interesting things tend to happen. Case in point, the recent collaboration between Baze, a street artist from Marseilles, France, and Guy le Tatooer, a tattoo artist hailing from Toulouse, France. After three days of work, gallons of glue and the blessing from the locals, the result was a 115 foot high mural of the sought after tattooer, smack in the middle of one of the most prolific skate parks in the world, on La Friche La Belle de Mai.
Editors note: I’ve been lucky enough to hang out with both of these guys on various occasions and happened across this collaboration by total chance (what would we do without the internet?) What an extreme pleasure to see two sincerely talented people working together! I highly encourage you to check out their respective works. While their styles are pretty much opposite from one another – which makes the collaboration even better – they both hold their own in each of their camps. Not only that, but they’re genuinely awesome human beings too. Click on their names above to see their past work.
