Music Monday – Selah Sue

Soulful and intriguing are just a couple of the words used to describe the voice and being that is Belgian-born musician Selah Sue. With a unique voice and style that is all her own, Selah is prepared to be the next big star in the new year. Choosing on many occasions to remain herself instead of conforming to the likes of today’s female musicians, Selah has remained herself, a musical hippy with a whole lotta soul.

WRG? First had the chance to catch Selah perform in Brussels at the Couleur Café music festival, where we realized just how talented this 21-year-old really is and her range of musical styles as she sang her hit songs as well as covers, including The Rascalz/Barrington Levy track “All Over The World” (Original Intro for ‘Ragamuffin’).

Garnering worldwide attention, Selah has been busy touring across Europe at events and some of the biggest music festivals. She is also featured on Cee-Lo Green’s newest album, The Lady Killer on the track ‘Please’ Ms. Selah Sue is definitely an artist to watch for in 2011!
