Happy Monday everyone!
A bunch of my DC and NYC friends recently went to see Above & Beyond, and after hearing all about it I decided it was high time I dedicate a post to the incredible English trance trio. A&B, active since 2000, is comprised of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki (from Finland… the odd man out). You’ve all heard me praise the trio in past posts as they topped my list of 2012 favourites and were definitely a great memory from last year’s Electric Zoo.
Most of you must know Anjunabeats, their record label, and its roster of insanely talented DJs such as Andrew Bayer, Arty, Audien, Jaytech, Kyau & Albert, Mat Zo, Norin & Rad, Oceanlab, Ost & Meyer, Seven Lions, Sunny Lax, Super8 & Tab, Tritonal, and many others. In addition to running a successful label, the trio also play host to their wildly popular 2-hour weekly radio show, Group Therapy Radio. They are trance GODS.
