Rostrum Records has an artist roster which includes hip-hop superstar Wiz Khalifa, Scott Simons, Donora, and more. 18-year-old Pittsburgh emcee Mac Miller officially inked a deal with them yesterday.

With Rostrum’s main focus on artist development, it’s a great place for him to sign to early in his flourishing career.  Having captivated and build a devoted fan base by releasing The High Life and The Jukebox mixtapes while still finishing high school, Mac has a very lengthy and promising career ahead of him.

Mac’s first release through Rostrum Records will be his K.I.D.S. mixtape which is currently scheduled to release on August 13th, followed by his debut album sometime in early 2011.
