Look At This F*cking Hipster Book

One of my favorite websites on the internet is Look At This Fucking Hipster. The site by Joe Mande explains the age old, ok well few year old question, “Is that a hipster?” with ridiculous pictures of hipsters along with hilarious commentary.

When I was in Montreal in July, I saw a hipstery gentleman on the street with a old fashioned type writer and a sign that said “POEMS”.

I asked him where he was from and when he said “Williamsburg, Brooklyn”, I couldn’t resist replying “of course you are”.
I mentioned that I too was visiting from NYC and he asked if he could catch a ride back with us.  Sadly, there was ummm not enough space…. I hope that he sold enough poems for a bus back to the city.  Being a fan of LATFH, I had to send the picture of him into the site.  About a month later, I got an email response asking if the picture could be in Mande’s book and if I would like photo credit.

Of course the answer was “YES!”  The book arrived into stores and I had the opporunity today to go check it out and see my “work” and name in print.

Go check out the site for some guaranteed laughs and buy yourself a copy, I couldn’t imagine a better coffee table book.

I am beyond excited and proud to be part of this!
