How have you been adapting to Instagram’s integration of automatic advertisements into your feed? Well, how about Instagram adding a new purchase button for brands and businesses?

The app has long been a platform for brands to advertise, but because of it’s personable and casual interface, they have usually relied on gifting influencers their products so they can post photos to reach a more diverse audience.

As of June 2, businesses can finally turn their likes into money. Users will be able to directly purchase what they are liking without trying to hunt it down through the web. This will no doubt be a great advantage for businesses, but poses the risk of saturating the user’s experience by turning it into an objectionable commercial venue. How do you feel about this new marketing approach?
