Where do you match up on the spectrum of creatives?
Remember back in middle school when you had to take those awful career placement quiz in computer class? Remember being worried that you were on the path to a career you didn’t like but you were apparently destined to have? Well, it’s safe to say they missed a step when making that quiz. Instead of telling you what type of career best suits your habits, you need to learn what type of habits you actually have in the first place.
The Red Bull High Performance team have put together an interactive survey so you can learn what type of creative you are. The algorithm identifies your creative habits, then maps them out with hundreds of other profiles. This gives you a chance to see the potential you have to create with others in different life paths than yours, but who have the same work patterns. Maybe you will even learn how to apply your skills to another creative venture.
“At a certain point in the map there’s an aerospace engineer next to an artist next to a designer next to a teacher. They’re all clustered together. It just shows that the way you approach creativity is relative to you, and that’s the power of it.” (Dr. Andy Walsh, head of Red Bull High Performance)
The group hopes to be able to foster new creative communities by linking how people work together, rather than matching them by their careers.
Take the survey and find out where you fall on the map.
