Candi Bar

The newest hot spot in the Plateau of Montreal, Candi Bar, deserves all the accolades and hype it’s been receiving. With hands down the most attention to detail of any venue in the city, Candi Bar is a club/lounge with a serious sweet tooth.

From the moment you set foot on the hand tiled lip logo entrance, Candi Bar is truly an experience. The bar, made entirely from 80,000 Mega Bloks (jumbo lego) to the wall of slushy dispensers each a crucial flavor for their signature candied drink collection Candi Bar’s surprises don’t end there.

The bathrooms are equally as spectacular as the bar. With urinals designed like the Rolling Stones Lips logo and a two tone toilet with extremely lavish wallpapering in the stalls.

Each booth features a candy dispenser filled with swedish berries, a useful way to get rid of that change in your pocket.

If you’re going on weekends, show up early the line up goes around the block, and if you’re looking for something to do on a Monday night, it won’t disappoint.

The music is a bit too bubblegum pop for our liking, but then again, would you really want to drink candi drinks and listen to dubstep? Don’t answer that.
