A Love For Leopard Print
Mitzah Bricard. Most people don’t know the name, but they would recognize the timeless trends and fashion statements that she has inspired. Mitzah Bricard was the glamorous muse of the late fashion designer, Christian Dior in the 1940s. She was the ultimate fashionista and was known for her love of turbans, stilettos, pearls and most of all, leopard print. She worked with and inspired Dior during his domination years and her timeless, elegant style continues to remain in vogue today.
The House of Dior, which now includes mega fashion designer John Galliano, continues to draw inspiration from Mitzah’s chic style, designing various collections in her honor, including the Resort Collection 2010, ‘Mitzah’ an exclusive perfume, and now a Mitzah inspired makeup collection.
This limited edition collection, which is more like a collector’s item, is in honor of Mitzah’s love for leopard print. It includes a leopard print eyeshadow palette (literally leopard print) and two nail lacquers, Ebony and Camel.
This exciting, exclusive collection will be out late March, early April and sold at all Dior counters.
