WRG's Art of Plating

We try our hand at Instagram Still-life

Cézanne was inspired by apples and tablecloths, Van Gogh by flowers. We, on the other hand, live in the digital age, which means that for better or worse we find a lot of our inspiration on Instagram.

But that doesn’t mean we’re not artistic. Straight from our favorite culinary Instagram accounts, we present a collection of nine mouth-watering photos that paint their own stories (and tastes) through food. We wanted to pay homage to the beautiful gastronomic photography of the Instagram generation but rather than just creating a list of foodies’ accounts to follow or a roundup of celebrity chefs who love showing off their dishes, we thought we’d get bit more creative.

When food looks this good, it’s worth immortalizing in time, and with such vibrant colors and unique presentations to work with, we couldn’t help but take paint to paper.

Welcome to WRG’s Art of Plating.
