Right now I’m listening to Van Francisco – Faction Sound Crew & DJ Theory to give these a good preview. First of all, these fit. I could see myself or anyone planning on spending an absurd amount of time in their headphones rocking these. Fit wise, forget the Oboes and get the Bongos.
In terms of sound, I found the Bongo’s leveled out the sound better than the Oboes, probably because the ear cup hugging my head better.
Unless you feel like hearing sweet nothings whispered to you by the android version of Barry White, forget listening to spoken audio on these. With a tendency to crank the volume, It is evident that the Bongo’s sound driver delivers a hefty dose of bass, and I lust for bass.
I wouldn’t use these headphones to run NASA headquarters but for the commute to the office and on the streets these are are versatile enough to handle the job.
