Last night I was craving a little something sweet and took to my fridge to see what I could do about it. I’m highly addicted to Greek yogurt and have been thinking about making froyo out of it for a while now but up to last night hadn’t taken the plunge.
Well … if you’ve been curious like me about how it would work out … DO IT. It’s amazing. The steps are so simple and I know … I have an ice cream maker so everyone out there who doesn’t may or may not give up now but I have a feeling that if you just left this in the freezer long enough it would freeze into a decent consistency. (So don’t go being all jealous yet)
I had Mocha greek yogurt in my fridge but you could use ANY flavor! Even more fun is if you use a plain yogurt try tossing in your own fun additions (sprinkles, fruit, chocolate chips, peanut butter … anythingggggg)
Coffee Froyo

1/2 cup of Almond Milk (Unsweetened)
500 g of Mocha Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup of Splenda Brown Sugar
Wisk together the sugar and the almond milk until sugar is completely dissolved.
Fold in the yogurt
Place in a freezer safe container and freeze for 2 hours
Place in ice cream maker
Voila!
