Happy New Year, and welcome back, everyone! Here’s what you may have missed over the weekend (having been doing New Year’s . . . things).

Mister Fall/Winter 2011 Varsity Collection

San Francisco brand Mister released a Fall/Winter 2011 Varsity collection, the staple of which is a varsity jacket in multiple materials (wool/leather and denim/leather), but which also includes a hoodie and some great looking jewelry. Check it out at the Mister site.

Mr. Gentleman Spring 2012 Collection

This Spring 2012 collection is from another mister (Mr. Gentleman, the new brand from Takeshi Osumi and Yuichi Yoshii). It’s another up-and-comer to watch out for this year, so take a look early.

Fracap Outsider Boot

The lightweight Outsider Boot from Italian maker Fracap has been made available outside of Japan. Prior to this point, Fracap products have been hard to find, but you can snag these now in black or brown leather for $290 through Kith.

Raekwon’s Latest Mixtape

Raekwon released his latest mixtape, Unexpected Victory, this weekend, and it’s available for the listening or the downloading here. Go check out what was certainly one of the year’s first mixtapes, featuring Mobb Deep, Busta Rhymes, production by 9th Wonder and more!

Jonathan Ive Knighted

Finally, Apple’s head designer, Jonathan Ive (who was born and grew up in London), was honoured with the title of Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire for his services to design and enterprise. Previously, in 2005, Ive had been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
