Vans is a brand we can never resist posting about, so how could we not bring up the Wool segment of the California Collection? It was announced a few weeks ago, but the pieces are just now becoming available. The collection manages to include yet another take on the Chukka boot, as well as the Era 59, without modifying the beautiful simplicity of either model. That’s accomplished with wool uppers in your choice of grey on white rubber, brown on brown rubber, or navy on black rubber; along with black eyelets, waxed black laces and black heel details. The navy Chukka is slightly different, with a pea coat theme to it (that includes the button straps).

It’s worth noting that the Wool Collection also includes the Chukka Del Barco Decon, which is the Chukka crossed with a boat shoe. Check out the entire California Collection here.
