With ten years of experience under his belt, Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) producer, Jamal Abdourahman and the rest of VFW production crew, decided to make their 14^th season of shows much different than those in the past. One of the refreshing changes included teaming up with Open Road Audi to welcome what would be the beginning of the most entertaining & shocking VFW’s to date.

The Audi opening reception was greatly received by all lucky enough to attend the private event. With such an intimate setting, great music, drinks & canapés, the environment was ideal for designers, models and  media to interact and exchange ideas, where as they normally would not have the opportunity to do so.

The venue for the runway shows this season were changed to the Empire Landmark Hotel, in the heart of the city; a change from the commonly used ‘The Chapel’ venue used in many of VFW’s past productions. Media presence was much more evident than in the past, showing the power of this ongoing fashion movement in the city. Every year The VFW crew manages to showcase well -known  as well as undiscovered new talents & ideas, ultimately resulting in every season being better than the last.
