The Roots’ Undun Album
Yesterday, The Roots dropped their latest album, Undun. From soulful and mysterious intro to the tumultuous end, it is bliss. This, The Roots’ 13th studio album, tells the semi-fictional story of Redford Stephens, who falls into a life of crime and lives and dies a young Philadelphia inner city man. And in another really neat twist, an iOS app has been created to complement the album using photos, video, interviews and lyrics. The undun app is free on iTunes for a limited time, and the album is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon, but if you’re still undecided, the album has been made available to stream on NPR here!
