Summer Hill Market is an amazing high end grocery store in Rosedale. They have a great selection of regular groceries but the main appeal there is all of their gourmet prepared foods. If you live anywhere around there and are too lazy to cook, stop by Summer Hill and pick up a fresh pot pie or a bistro classic like Beef Bourguignon or Duck Cassoulet which you will rarely find in a restaurant and are too lazy to make yourself. All the food is made on the spot with predominantly local ingredients (as much as possible) and they also cater and do gift baskets for the foodies in your life. Big ups to Brad McMullen who runs the family owned store and just lead it to be the Gold award winner in the Canadian Independent Grocer of the Year Award.
