Who wears short shorts? Models on the runway circa S/S10 – That’s who. Temperatures may be rising, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that hemlines have to also. At least not this summer season. Gone are the days where you had to do some serious squats in order to pull off this hot weather trend – but if you want to,  there are still plenty of options.

Want to live life on the wild side? Embellishment will get you there. Studs (yes they are still around), fringe, holes, dyes & prints are all making an appearance on your miniature pants this summer. Just remember to forget our previous “more is more” statement when it comes to these bad boys. You don’t want to look like a circus.

And then there’s leather. There’s always leather. Amp up the sex appeal and shimmy your way into a pair of tailored leather shorts or if you’ve got Gisele’s legs, throw on the minis. Leather shorts + white t-shirt + kick ass shoes = your recipe for downtown chic.

If you can’t get down with any of these styles, don’t fret. Denim cut-offs never go out. Just, please, for the love of god don’t wear them with tights.
