@shitmydadsays The TV Show

When unemployed 29-year-old Justin Halpern broke up with his girlfriend and was forced to move in with his wise cracking, sarcastic 74-year-old dad, he decided to share his dad’s one off comments with the world on the Twitter account @shitmydadsays

I’m sure he had no idea that the Twitter account would gain such a cult following that would lead him to a book deal and now a primetime TV show on CBS.  The family comedy staring William Shatner, is written by Halpern and Patrick Schumacker and the executive producers of Will & Grace will be part of it.

Let’s hope Halpern’s dad keeps saying funny shit to keep this show going.
