The Burgundy Lion is gearing up to host the second annual Rock The Pitch charity soccer tournament. This year the tournament will be a part of the Africa Charity Sports series and the money will go toward community-building, and education and skill-development in Africa.

It goes down on June 19th at the Lachine Soccerplex, and spectators are encouraged to come and watch local restaurant and business teams (including the WRG crew) vie for the Lion’s Cup. There will be food, live music, pick-up games and a raffle of Osheaga tickets, vacation vouchers and more (as if witnessing us pwn suckas in soccer weren’t enough incentive to show up).
