RIP Amy

Amy Winehouse has recently been known for her catastrophic shows, obsession with her on/off boyfriend, and an obvious drug addiction. But despite the bullshit, there’s always been a collective sigh of disappointment that all the fuckery that comes along with fame affected her enormous talents. Amy’s sultry, jazzy voice was a unique talent that separated her from other singers of this young generation. Her pipes combined with her intimate songwriting and a golden Mark Ronson co-sign shot her to the top winning Grammy’s and global fame. Unfortunately, for some, fame is a killer. At 27 years young, Amy has left an impressive body of work and a world of fans wondering what could’ve been. Rest in paradise, Amy.
