Redesigning Heineken
Have you ever looked at a beer bottle and thought “Gosh I’d love to see one of my illustrations on there, instead of this ugly-ass logo”? (Sorry Beers, but a few of you have been cursed with really terrible branding execution…)
Well, now is your chance to rethink the Heineken bottle’s visual identity! (The irony being of course that the Heineken logo is really clean… But anyways…) The people over at Heiny are giving you the opportunity to “create a bottle design that symbolizes how people around the world will connect in the next 140 years.”
So not the simplest challenge, but what would a contest be if there was no competition to be had? Get your thinking caps on because you could be the lucky one who gets their design issued on the 140th anniversary Limited Edition pack!
Also, don’t be daunted any lack of skill you may think you have. The rules include using the tools made available to you on the brand’s Facebook page to create your design, AND (the best part in my opinion) you have to connect your design to a complete stranger’s and compete as an amazing design duo!
