Spring 2011 collection of jackets from The North Face Purple Label (a collaboration between the outdoor product giant and Nanamica, a Japanese active brand) are out and are poised to be the most sought after collection of the season.

These are in no way your mom’s puffy ski jacket. Each item has a unique (and attractive cut) and puts a different material to good use; one of them, a sweater-type piece, uses fleece and details that recall the 90′s era outerwear. You might have to do some digging to get your hands on anything from this collection, though; this stuff’s already been on sale for a couple of days, and given how slick it is, you shouldn’t be surprised if it’s all gone. It’s still worth a try, though, right?
