I was sent by my bud Vishal the most glorious website today that brought me back to my days of collegiate stupor.  It’s called These Are Powerful Hours.  It’s a website where for free you can download or stream a Power Hour mix.  Each mix follows the traditional Power Hour structure and is made up of 61 songs with each song being a minute long.  I’m assuming the 1 extra minute is to emotionally prepare yourself for what you’re about to put your body through.  There is a mix for everyone’s musical preference from The White Power Hour: Robert Kelly Power Hour to  Spangled Leather Poncho: Steely Dan Power Hour to Little Macho Music: Italo Disco Power Hour.  I’m haven’t participated in a Power Hour in about 6 years, but I think this website and these mixes are inspiring a Power Hour in the near future.  I think I may even be able to convince my mother on our next family holiday to do one with her after I tune her into Did It In A Minute: Hall & Oates Power Hour (she named me after their song ‘Sara Smile’).  Easter with the Karp Ward’s is shaping up to be a blast!
