Why do the typical sit down chill brunch when you can go party your ass off one last day before the work week starts. Typically this is how it goes down, everyone has a lovely sit down brunch with the typical fare- eggs benedict, omelets, pasta dishes, burgers and the traditional brunch cocktails- mimosas, sangria, capriniahs, mojitios, etc. There is a DJ playing house music but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation with those around you. As you drink more, the music gets louder and the restaurant begins to fill with more people who are not there to eat. Champagne bottles begin coming out with sparklers on them, people start dancing on chairs and the bar and yes, it’s only 6pm.

Something about this early drinking makes everyone super “friendly” with each other. As you look around the room, you begin to see those around you also falling under the “brunch love spell.”

Not just those partying fall under the “brunch love spell,” it also involves the bartenders, servers, bussers and kitchen staff.

Though making out is the common practice, sometimes it’s just fun to make friends with the craziest looking person you can find.

As the sky becomes pitch black outside, brunch winds down. Most leave those they became “friendly” with and most likely won’t talk to or see them again. Well, not until next Sunday’s brunch.
