Nate Dogg lives on

DJ Critical Hype (with the collaboration of concert promoters EscapeMTL) released The Art of Nate Dogg Blends mixtape. To put it simply, it’s an album of mashups of classic Nate Dogg verses along side names such as Nas, Curren$y, Tupac, Biggie, Mos Def, Ghostface Killa over some flipped instrumentals.

“after Nate Dogg passed away I was inspired to release this mixtape [of] exclusive never heard-before remixes/blends.” – Critical Hype

Nate Dogg’s vocals blessed some epic hip hop tracks, thanks in large part to the Dr Dre production. That makes this mixtape a very daunting task to take on and do justice. Props to anyone willing to step up to plate.
