Adventure Club at Osheaga

After a heated debate between myself and….myself….I finally decided I would do the preview on Adventure as opposed to Snoop Dogg (9:15 – 10:45 pm). I have been a Snoop Dogg fan for YEARS and I can’t ignore that. Doggystyle, Tha Doggfather, The Last Meal, guest appearances on Chronic and Chronic 2001, and my guilty pleasures, Next Episode, Vato, Intrology, Gangsta Love, Drop It Like It’s Hot, Boss’ Life, Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach, Sweat…However, everyone also knows that EDM is where my heart truly lies.

This Dubstep duo (Christian Srigley & Leighton James) hail from Montreal (represent). Y’all know just how much I LOVE my dubstep, it warms the cockles of my heart. If you don’t know their remix of Flight Facilities ‘Crave You’ by now, shame on you. It is a melodic and wubbly* work of art. Soft, feminine vocals mixed with nasty, overwhelming bass lines = insanity.

*Wubbly. Officially coined by me on July 23. It describes the dirty wobbles and wub wubs of dubstep.
