Hi music lovers!
I am moving to Singapore in exactly 1 week and 2 days. I can honestly say that just 1 year ago I would have never even considered moving outside Montreal (betchography 7.514, see link), nevermind Singapore. It’s crazy how much can change in a year…who would have thought that the little homesick kid at sleep away camp would move 14795.11 kilometers away from her comfort zone?
FUN FACTS OF THE DAY:
-The lowest recorded temperature is 19.4 degrees and typically 30-32 degrees with a humidex of, say, ten billion (also known as fluctuating between 70-100%)
-Other than Monaco, Singapore is the most densely populated country in the world (6,430 people/square km)
-The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve in Singapore contains more species of trees than the entire North American continent (WOW)
-The Guinness book record for the longest human domino chain was set in Singapore on 30th September 2000. Formed by 9,234 students, it measured 4.2km. VERY pertinent information
-Singapore is a city-state made up of one main island and 63 surrounding tiny islands
-The total land area of Singapore is 682.7 square kilometres – the USA is about 15,000 times bigger
-There are no discernable seasons (SUMMER FOREVER!!!!!!)
-Singapore is just BARELY situated in the northern hemisphere (137 kilometers north of the equator)

Download The Killers Runaway (Ken Loi Remix). Who DOESN’T remember The Killers from their high school days? They were MASSIVE. This remix is killing it. Cheers, Ken Loi. Wow.
