Montreal’s Clock Tower Beach

So we’ve all heard rumours about this “urban beach” being constructed in the Old Port of Montreal for the summer season. Well, rumours be still … it’s happened! The beach located next to the Clock Tower (hence the beach’s name) opened to the public on June 16th. It will be open until September 2nd from 10:30am till 7:30pm, except for late night closing (11pm) during special events and the most amazing part of summer, the fireworks festival. After that the beach will remain open during weekends only for the month of September.

Be Warned: There are fees.

Daily Admission:
> 5: free
6-12 years old: $3
13-59 years old: $6
60 +: $5

If you REALLY love it, they do offer Season passes for $27 per individual or $58 for a family. Check out the Old Port of Montreal’s website for more info on events occurring throughout the season.
