MONDAY MAYHEM…Volume UP: Tiesto in Montreal – New City Gas Bar

What a week! I’ve been spending a LOT of time migrating my blog (theelectronictonic.com) from Tumblr to WordPress and I am telling you… it is stuff nightmares are made of. All 800+ of my posts lost their proper embedding formats so I am going to try to redo that. Le sigh. BUT it looks fabulous, it sounds fabulous and it even smells fabulous. I love the smell of EDM in the morning.

Tiesto: I saw Tiesto last week at New City Gas, a huge venue that just opened up in Montreal. I have to say…it was pretty cool. New City Gas used to be some sort of old factory and the main section looks like a church. I realize that makes absolutely no sense but I swear – I am describing it in a very accurate manner. They have a GREAT light set up and Chasing Summers prettyyyy much split my head in two. It was magical. DUH. I love him, I love his music and he can really do no wrong in my mind. Unfortunately, I did not get the honor of interviewing him because he is a mega superstar and I am just a 5 foot tall raver dancing my face off somewhere in the crowd. Next time!

There has been a boatload of incredible new beats that I am SO excited to share with all of y’allllllll. We have some new Porter Robinson mashups, lots of fresh dubstep, some Cosmic Gate…get excited. Better put your volume up if you know what’s good for you.

I have been waiting for Gareth Emery’s The Saga ever since I heard it on ASOT. FINALLY!!! It is a real scorcher. “The motherfuckin’ saga continues”.
