There’s a new spot on Monkland and it’s long overdue. After multiple restaurants in the hood closed we have been waiting for something cool and hip to open and along came Lucille’s Oyster Dive. If you like oysters then this is the spot to hit, its got a great raw bar with plenty of choice for the novice and the expert alike. The vibe is great and i recommend sitting at the bar where the shucker can give you a great show.

The only drawback is, that is is rather pricey but that’s to be expected when you feast on 2 dozen oysters. If you want something other than oysters then i do also recommend the seafood platter which comes with a great selection of fresh seafood including lobster, crab and huge delicious shrimps. The wine selection is great and they have some yummy cocktails to choose from. All in all, if you like seafood and like a laid back atmosphere then this is a great spot to check out.
