Take a look at Florian Lalanne’s short documentary, “Waiting… for Immigrants,” on life in Montreal and the melting pot of young professionals that make a living in the city.
The documentary was filmed over the past year as a part of Florian’s “Waiting” project. A filmmaker by trade hailing from Marseille, he started this personal project several years ago while he was travelling across different countries. It was his way of documenting his memories as well as testing new filming techniques.
In this part of the series, he interviews a great crew of entrepreneurs and friends including photographers, graphic designers, sign painters, surfers, professional longboarders, cyclists, and businessmen. All of whom give their account of their journey moving to the city, and what’s keeping them grounded.
