Nike announced that starting today at 8:30PST the Nike MAG, aka the Marty Mcfly shoe/boot from Back to the Future II will be released by auction on ebay, 1500 pairs in total worldwide.

The shoe will be on auction from Sept 8-18, for a total of 10days, where the wealthy fans will have a chance to bid for the shoes.
Nike also announced that not only are all proceeds from the sales are being donated to the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson’s research, but that all donations will be matched, nearly doubling the funds raised.
