DRESS LIKE A MAD MAN

Banana Republic is once again teaming up with Man Men’s Emmy award winning costume designer Jaynie Bryant to create 40 new looks for the spring. On March 1st Banana Republic will reveal a cool capsule of clothes enabling modern men and women to dress like the dapper and demure cast of the AMC hit show just in time for the season Five premier on March 25th.

The collection will be filled with classic 60’s flair and encompasses both business chic and country club classics. Unlike the previous collection intended for the fall, this upcoming collaboration is light and bright while still retaining the chic sophistication represented by the hit show and the earlier collaboration.

The women’s line is filled with bold prints, neutral colours and a cool mix of statement accessories. The collection will reinvent classic 60’s silhouettes like slim trousers and form fitting knee length dresses.

The men’s line remains simple in cut but bold in colour and style. Slick hair and vintage sunglasses complete the look, and will add many chic pieces to every man’s wardrobe.

Although the looks are very much inspired by the 60’s, many current trends have been incorporated into the collection making it very wearable. This March go out and dress like a Mad Man – again.
