Champagne & 7 (with a twist)
7 For All Mankind have officially opened their doors in Canada. We all know that with a long awaited reveal comes a wicked celebration. Last Wednesday, Yorkdale Mall was flooded with a gaggle of Toronto’s fashion insiders, designers, media and models to celebrate 7 For All Mankind’s second Canadian location (first in the GTA). Amongst Sevens’ latest prêt-a-porter was a collection of denim artworks made by local artists and auctioned off to raise money and awareness for ‘African Future’. The event was appropriately hosted by supermodel Yasmin Warsame who embodies the union of fashion and goodwill. The evening was filled with conversations revolving around the beautiful clothes, art and people; fuelled by a steady flow of bubbly.
WRG? managed to catch David Simons, Manager for VF Contemporary Brands Canada, early enough in the event to ask about the brand’s future in Canada. He explains that all locations in Canada now boast the full collection and by next week, children’s articles will be added to the stores. Although the brand has been available throughout Canada in small retail boutiques, this will be the first time that the entire sportswear collection is available in one location.
7 For All Mankind has shown that not only is the brand dedicated to providing excellent denim product for every age group, but that it is a brand conscious of socioeconomic conditions worldwide.
