Well, it finally arrived. The highly anticipated Hunger Games nail polish line… and of course, the movie. The Hunger Games hit theaters at midnight on March 23rd and broke box office records, and popular culture experienced a Hunger Games explosion.
With all the buzz surrounding the books and the film (and basically anything affiliated with The Hunger Games) there was a lot of excitement with news of the first-ever Hunger Games nail polish line from China Glaze. While there were alleged lawsuits in the early months of the deal – leaving fans questioning the final outcome - China Glaze beat out fellow competitors, O.P.I. and Essie, in showcasing this up-and-coming phenomenon. After months of rumors about the line, it all worked out in the end. China Glaze released Capitol Colours, and just in time!
The creatively named collection, Capitol Colours, consists of 12 earthly shades that are a nice mix of mattes and lustrous shimmers, with names that are dedicated to various scenes and descriptions from the book. Which Capitol Colour are you showing off?
