Alice Bar

The Spot

There’s something so timeless and chic about meeting someone for an after-work drink in a hotel bar. This is totally our style so we are beyond excited to add the Alice Bar, in the Omni Hotel, to our roster. Not only is it centrally located on Sherbrooke Street in the Golden Square Mile of Montreal, it has also just been beautifully renovated.

What’s Really Good?

Designed by Alexandra Champalimaud, Alice Bar’s aesthetic exudes a sense of chic and luxury. While the size and layout are comfortably intimate, the decor – a contemporary feel with a nod to the 70s – makes the ambiance special and exciting. We were especially taken with the plush velvet sofas, glamorous statement pillows, stunning crystal chandelier, and of course, the bronze statue of Alice by Alice Winant (she never goes out of style).

In addition to the classic drinks we all know and love, Alice Bar offers a cocktail menu complete with signature drinks including Fraises Basilic (Gin, Fragoli, Cinzano Rosso), Latté Martini (Vodka, Kahlua) and our favourite, the Alice (Vodka, Crème de Cassis). There is also a small bar menu featuring charcuterie and cheese plates, fried calamari and crab cakes. Essentially, Alice Bar has all the makings for a perfect 5 à 7.

You’ll wanna know to know:

The staff here is super friendly and accommodating. We could totally picture having a larger group of people (seating capacity is 40) for a private event or office cocktail.
